A collection of short stories
Jacaranda Journals is a collection of short
stories, set in the 1990s in Harare, that reflects the
diversity of a multicultural Zimbabwe. These stories
highlight the rarely depicted middle-class lives of
urban black people and racial 'minorities', like the
Zimbabwean Jewish, Indian and coloured communities.
Although all the main characters have different cultural
backgrounds, their stories are interlinked and connected
in unexpected ways.
